Heterogeneous disorder of anti-Müllerian hormone signalling in theca cell: insights from transcriptomics and single-cell sequencing in polycystic ovary syndrome

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a common endocrine and metabolic disorder. However, the pathophysiology of PCOS at the cellular level remains to be further elucidated. This study aimed to investigate key biomarkers and molecular mechanisms associated with PCOS, as well as their cellular heterogeneity within the ovary, including in the theca cells and granulosa cells.
