资源简介:
This dataset supports the findings of a randomized controlled trial investigating the therapeutic effects of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) on infectious endometritis in jennies and its impact on the endometrial microbiota. The study enrolled 30 jennies with infectious endometritis, which were randomly assigned to three treatment groups: PRP monotherapy (group P), cefazolin (CEF) monotherapy (group C), and PRP combined with half-dose CEF (group M). On day 1 (baseline) and day 14 (post-treatment) of the experiment, multiple assessments were conducted, including ultrasonic evaluation of uterine fluid volume, collection of uterine lavage fluid for cytological examination and bacterial culture, and endometrial biopsy for histopathological evaluation. All clinical, cytological, and histological parameters were scored on a 0-3 scale to quantify treatment efficacy. 16S rRNA sequencing was performed on uterine lavage fluid to analyze the endometrial microbiota composition and the regulatory effects of different treatments. This dataset contains all raw and analyzed data from the study, including: 1. Clinical and histological scoring data of endometritis (ultrasonic, cytological, and histopathological scores) for all jennies at baseline and post-treatment; 2. Uterine microbial community analysis data: OTU abundance and taxonomy tables, rarefaction curves, Venn analysis of unique OTUs, alpha diversity indices (Sobs, Shannon, Chao), beta diversity analysis (Bray-Curtis dissimilarity matrix, PCoA ordination, adonis test), relative abundance at phylum and genus levels, Kruskal-Wallis H test results, and LEfSe analysis with LDA values. This dataset supports further research on PRP as an alternative therapeutic strategy for infectious endometritis in jennies, as well as studies on endometrial microbiota regulation in equine reproduction.
