资源简介:
This essay examines the notion of representative thinking in Hannah Arendt's conceptualization of judgment. In her reading of figures such as Socrates, Thucydides, Muratori, Kant and Jaspers she offers a conception of thinking and its relation to politics alternative to the prevailing one in Western philosophy. The theoretical framework of this redefinition of the citizen's political thinking is largely found in Kantian legacy. The aim of this article is to point out how the kind of reflection proposed by Arendt is the only one able to safeguard the plurality of points of view and to take it into consideration. This is the reason why to think in a representative manner must be clearly distinguished from an authoritative or tyrannical way of thinking.
