Supporting data and spatial products for municipal invasive flora management in Colmenar (Málaga, Spain)

This dataset is the initial public release of the project compendium developed within the project “Estrategia de Acción para la Gestión de Flora Invasora y Capacitación Local en el Ámbito de Colmenar (Axarquía, Málaga)”, led by Hub-Terra Investigación y Tecnología, S. L. with the collaboration of the Ayuntamiento de Colmenar and funded through the Programa Microclimas of the Diputación Provincial de Málaga and Fundación Bancaria Unicaja. The compendium supports transparency, traceability, municipal reuse and scientific citation of the project while avoiding unnecessary disclosure of raw field coordinates, personal information, internal exploratory analyses and third-party source datasets. Version 0.1.0 includes: (i) field-occurrence and sampling-coverage data aggregated to the aligned 250 m analytical grid; (ii) separate summaries for the full project survey area and the strict municipal boundary of Colmenar; (iii) municipal spatial-prioritisation products for Ailanthus altissima, Agave americana and Arundo donax; (iv) model-status, validation and operational-threshold metadata; (v) documentation of modelling decisions and data-access restrictions; (vi) an inventory of external environmental and territorial sources and their licensing conditions; and (vii) provenance materials for the GBIF-mediated occurrence data used in the regional modelling workflows. The final working field database used to generate the public aggregates contains 521 occurrence records across the project survey area, of which 219 fall within the strict Colmenar municipal boundary. Exact field coordinates and observer identifiers are not distributed. The GBIF provenance component documents 48,681 cleaned, unique GBIF occurrence identifiers for Agave americana, Ailanthus altissima, Arundo donax and Parkinsonia aculeata, originating from 276 GBIF provider datasets. The GBIF-mediated occurrence data used in the regional modelling workflows are registered as a GBIF Derived Dataset: https://doi.org/10.15468/dd.txf2nm. The spatial model products are intended for screening, surveillance and municipal prioritisation. Predicted suitability, hotspot and corridor classes do not demonstrate confirmed occupation of a cell and do not directly delimit intervention surfaces. Field verification and the relevant legal and technical checks remain necessary before management action. This initial release is a project-level traceability and dissemination compendium and does not claim complete end-to-end computational reproducibility. A later version may incorporate a frozen analytical code snapshot and additional materials associated with peer-reviewed scientific publication.
