Cells grown at 23°C in SD to 1×107 cells/ml were transferred to fresh SD at 23°C or 37°C and assayed for β-galactosidase activity at the indicated times. The results represent the average data from three independent transformants. The results are relative to time 0 at 23°C. The strain tested was Y1890 carrying UASru-3xAB-lacZ integrated within genomic LEU2.
