AskNature provides innovators with the world__s most comprehensive catalog of nature__s solutions to human design challenges. This curated online library, built by and for the community, features free information on natural phenomena and hundreds of bio-inspired applications. AskNature helps innovators understand how nature__s adaptations work, empowering them to mimic ideas that have evolved to thrive in balance with Earth__s complex systems to solve human challenges. Since its launch in 2008, AskNature has attracted more than 1.9 million students, educators, and professionals spanning fields across design, engineering, science, and business. These users include everyone from research biologists documenting new natural phenomena, to product designers focused on structure and behavior, to materials scientists exploring nano- and micro-scale protein synthesis, to entrepreneurs thinking about relationships and whole systems.
