This record contains data collected on the RV Southern Surveyor, within four transects inside and around of King Sound, between April 16 and May 3 2010. The data can be used for Ocean Colour sensor validation. Parameters measured are the concentration of chlorophyll and carotenoid pigments and retrieved chlorophyll a estimate, and the absorption coefficient for particulate (a/p) and detrital or non-algal (a/d) components of the water column. A total of 34 stations were sampled.
