Census of Agriculture, 1971 [Canada] [Excel]

The 1971 Census of Agriculture was taken on June 1, 1971. Census farm is defined in the 1971 Census of Agriculture as a farm, ranch, or other agricultural holding of one acre or more with sales of agricultural products during the 12-month period prior to census of 50 or more. All tabulated data are subject to confidentiality restrictions prior to release. Due to confidentiality constraints, data for those geographic areas with very few agricultural operations are not released separately, but rather merged with a geographically adjacent area.
