Magnetic and bathymetric datasets and MATLAB scripts for magnetization vector inversion of the TA12 seamount (Lau Basin)

This repository contains the processed shipborne magnetic data, multibeam bathymetry grids, and MATLAB scripts used in the study: “Three-dimensional magnetization structure of the Tofua Arc 12 seamount revealed by magnetization vector inversion and bathymetry (Lau Basin, SW Pacific)”, submitted to Scientific Reports. The dataset supports the interpretation of the internal structure and evolutionary history of the TA12 submarine volcano through reduction to the pole (RTP), analytic signal analysis, and three-dimensional magnetization vector inversion (MVI). Included materials comprise: Gridded bathymetry and magnetic anomaly products (ΔT, RTP, analytic signal), Final MVI model outputs exported from VOXI Earth Modelling (Oasis montaj), MATLAB scripts used to generate Supplementary Figures S1–S5 and Supplementary Tables S2–S4, Derived grids required to reproduce sensitivity tests, RTP stability analyses, and inversion fit diagnostics. The proprietary VOXI inversion algorithms themselves are not included; however, all post-processing, visualization, and quantitative analyses are fully reproducible using the provided scripts and data.
