The project includes rDNA 18S V4 metabarcoding data from soil samples collected along environmental gradients in a forest area in southern Norway, stretching from richer Picea abies forests to Pinus sylvestris forests, as well as mires. The main aim of the project was to assess which environmental factors that are the main drivers of the soil biota, as well as assess the separate influences of vegetation and abiotic factors.
