ICP-OES dataset of archaeological superficial soil samples from Tejada la Vieja
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains the results of ICP-OES (Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometry) analyses performed on 223 surface soil samples collected from the archaeological site of Tejada la Vieja (Escacena del Campo) and its surrounding area, located in the province of Huelva, southwestern Spain. The analysis focused on the detection and quantification of 16 chemical elements commonly associated with anthropogenic activity in archaeological contexts: Phosphorus (P), Potassium (K), Calcium (Ca), Manganese (Mn), Iron (Fe), Copper (Cu), Zinc (Zn), Arsenic (As), Strontium (Sr), Lead (Pb), Aluminum (Al), Silicon (Si), Sodium (Na), Chromium (Cr), Nickel (Ni), and Magnesium (Mg). The data were generated as part of a geoarchaeological study aiming to explore the chemical signatures of ancient human occupation, particularly in relation to metallurgical activities, settlement dynamics, and anthropogenic soil enrichment. The dataset includes concentration values for each element (in µg/g) and is suitable for further statistical, spatial, or environmental analysis within archaeological science.
