The aim of this thesis, and its related publications, is to address this gap by investigating the applicability of Constraint Satisfaction Problem search techniques to the unfolding of high-level Petri nets. Furthermore its goal is to demonstrate a working, and reasonably efficient, implementation of the resultant techniques in a Petri net context.
