Processed 2021 Census of Population Data for Canada's Economic Regions (Parquet)

This dataset provides a processed Parquet version of Statistics Canada’s 2021 Census of Population data for the economic region geographic level in Canada. It is derived from the 2021 Census Profile comprehensive download files published by Statistics Canada. Within the 2021 Census Dictionary, an economic region (ER) geography is defined as a grouping of complete census divisions, with one exception in Ontario, created as a standard geographic unit for analysis of regional economic activity. This release is part of the Data for Canada d4c-datapkg-statistical collection and is intended to support machine-readable, reproducible analysis using modern data tools and workflows.
