Dataset_submitted to JGR-Oceans: Seasonal physical fronts and associated biogeochemical-ecological effects off the Jiangsu Shoal in the western Yellow Sea, China

This dataset provides the shipboard data of biochemical sites in the Jiangsu Shoal and its adjacent area, including salinity, temperature, density, nutrients, suspended sediment, and Chl-a. There are six sheets of “Spring”, “Summer”, “Autumn”, “Winter”, “Sectional data of 34°N” and “Chl-a” in the Data Table. The “Spring”, “Summer”, “Autumn” and “Winter” sheets show the relevant hydrochemical data in 10-m layer. The “Sectional data of 34°N” sheet displays the climatological values of hydrochemical parameters for each monitoring station along the 34°N section in winter and summer seasons during 1986-2006. The “Chl-a” sheet provides the Chl-a values along the cross-shoal sections of 34.3°N, 34°N, and 33.7°N.<br>
