Aspergillus flavus is a major pathogen that produces aflatoxins in crops and causes aspergillosis humans. Recently biocontrol as an aflatoxins management strategy has gained considerable attention. However, the molecular mechanisms that govern A. flavus's response to biocontrol agents-induced stress are poorly understood. To decipher this mechanism, we chartered an antagonism scenario between Aspergillus flavus and a biocontrol bacterial and performed transcriptomics and metabolomics analyses of the process.
