L-lysine (Lysine) is an indispensable amino acid that cannot be synthesized by the human body.We investigated whether lysine is involved in the remission of ulcerative colitis (UC) through dendritic cells.We performed RNA sequencing analysis in Bone Marrow-Derived Dendritic Cells (BMDCs) supplied with PBS or lysine to study the molecular mechanisms through which lysine regulates BMDCs gene expression. Gene expression profiles of BMDCs supplied with PBS or 18 mM lysine for 6 h were generated by deep sequencing, using Illumina NovaSeq 6000.To identify DEGs (differential expression genes) between two different samples, the expression level of each transcript was calculated according to the transcripts per million reads (TPM)method. RSEM was used to quantify gene abundances.
