## **Abstract** \n\nThis dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme. The parent datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statment. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.\n\n\n\nThis is a cartographic dataset showing the area of the Great Artesian Basin that is outside the Cadna Owie - Hooray aquifer extent.\n\n## **Dataset History** \n\nThe polygon shapefile within this dataset was created by erasing the Cadna Owie - Hooray aquifer extent shapefile: CadnaOwie_Hooray_Aquifer_Extent.shp (GABATLAS - Cadna-owie-Hooray Aquifer and Equivalents - Thickness and Extent, GUID: \tbc55589c-1c6f-47ba-a1ac-f81b0151c630) from the Great Artesian Basin extent shapefile: GAB_Hydrological_Boundary.shp (Great Artesian Basin - Hydrogeology and Extent Boundary, GUID: 020957ea-4877-4009-872c-3cacfb6f8ded).\n\n\n\nUsing the Erase tool in ArcGIS (Analysis Tools > Overlay > Erase) with the following input parameters:\n\nin_features: GAB_Hydrological_Boundary.shp\n\nerase_features: CadnaOwie_Hooray_Aquifer_Extent.shp\n\n## **Dataset Citation** \n\nBioregional Assessment Programme (2016) Great Artesian Basin - Cadna-owie Hooray Aquifer Erase.
