Genomic surveillance of Mycobacterium tuberculosis examined at Instituto Adolfo Lutz, Sao Paulo, Brazil

This project involves genomic surveillance of Mycobacterium tuberculosis isolates received at the Instituto Adolfo Lutz, the public health reference laboratory for the state of Sao Paulo, Brazil. We use gene fragments, full-length genes, and whole-genome sequencing data to aid in detecting drug resistance, conducting molecular epidemiology, and monitoring transmission.
