Single cell sequencing of Maternal immune activation(MIA) pregnant mouse placenta

we employed single-cell RNA sequencing to contrast the placentas from wild-type pregnant mice with those from MIA counterparts. We combined placentas from five mice per group and isolated individual cells using the 10x Genomics platform. Following initial quality control, 31,287 single-cell transcriptomes (17,866 from control and 13,421 from MIA) were categorized by significant cell type clusters. Analysis identified 12 cell types using gene expression profiles of known markers , including trophoblast subtypes and immune cells.
