Palm oil is one of Indonesia's leading commodities, significantly contributing to the country's economy. The most widely produced derivative product of palm oil is Crude Palm Oil (CPO). PT XYZ is a company that owns palm oil plantations with 16 Palm Oil Mills (PKS). Palm oil is processed into Crude Palm Oil (CPO) derivatives, which are then shipped to buyers. The aim of this study is to identify the types and causes of waste occurring in the CPO shipping process and to provide improvement suggestions. Lean supply chain is used as an approach to reduce waste, with value stream mapping (VSM) and value stream analysis tools (VALSAT) as the methods. Waste occurring in the shipping process was identified through questionnaires given to three value stream managers.
