资源简介:

This repository contains the data, code, manuscript and supporting materials of a hydroclimatic analysis of Imbabura Province, in the northern Ecuadorian Andes, submitted to the International Journal of Climatology (Wiley / Royal Meteorological Society). The study integrates 21 INAMHI meteorological stations (1994–2013, post-QC), four gridded products (CHIRPS v2.0, ERA5-Land, TerraClimate, MOD16A2GF, 1981–2025) and a bias-adjusted 10-GCM CMIP6 ensemble (BASD-CMIP6-PE) under SSP1-2.6, SSP3-7.0 and SSP5-8.5 (2015–2070). Trend detection, teleconnection with ENSO, extreme-precipitation indices and elevation-dependent warming signals are quantified across a 2,465-m altitudinal gradient. Primary result — altitudinal temperature gradient: slope = −8.24 °C km⁻¹, R² = 0.966, p = 7.5 × 10⁻⁵ (n = 7 INAMHI climatological stations, post-QC). 95% bootstrap CI: [−10.87, −6.99] °C km⁻¹ (1,000 replicates, random seed = 42). Full reproducibility in 02_data/A1_lapse_rate_bootstrap_traceability.json. Repository structure: 01_manuscript/ — final English manuscript, Supporting Information, Cover Letter 02_data/ — 61 processed time series, QC records and analytical results 03_code/ — Python 3.11 processing pipeline 04_figures/ — 23 figures at 600 dpi + graphical abstract 05_tables/ — Manuscript tables in CSV and XLSX README.md — full documentation Study area: Imbabura Province, northern Ecuadorian Andes (0.12–0.88°N, 77.81–79.28°W), elevation range 675–4,939 m, area 4,599 km².
