The comprehensive multifactorial design of the Braunschweig agricultural free air carbon dioxide enrichment (FACE) field experiment was used in this study to evaluate the effect of the most important global change drivers, including elevated atmospheric CO2, higher temperature and drought, under the influence of different amounts of N fertilizers, on the diversity of the bacterial rhizomicrobiome of winter wheat. During two subsequent years, 2014 and 2015, bacterial communities were analyzed at the grain maturation stage and at flowering and mid-grain filling in the second year. Bacterial abundance and diversity were assessed by quantifying and sequencing PCR amplified partial 16S rRNA genes from wheat rhizosphere samples. Here we present the Illumina MiSeq sequencing results.
