Women, Business and the Law (WBL): Pension Topic

The Pension topic measures gender differences in retirement ages and mechanisms that account for women’s career interruptions in the calculation of pension benefits. It considers policies that raise awareness and promote pension literacy, procedures for challenging benefit decisions, incentives for employers to increase pension benefits, and sex-disaggregated data on pension ages and benefit amounts. It also assesses expert perceptions on the extent to which laws on the size of a woman’s pension are enforced in practice.
