Confocal data of Yallmoleia arriagavarelai and Xanrofeurya tomaszewskae

This dataset contains the raw confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM) slices for the holotypes of Yallmoleia arriagavarelai (NIGP204232) and Xanrofeurya tomaszewskae (NIGP204233) from mid-Cretaceous Kachin amber. Additional confocal data for Euryptychus grandinotalis (NIGP173376) are also provided. This dataset is associated with the publication "A contribution to the taxonomy of Eucnemidae from mid-Cretaceous Kachin amber (Coleoptera: Elateroidea)" (DOI:10.11646/mesozoic.2.1.3).

Confocal images were obtained with a Zeiss LSM710 confocal laser scanning microscope, using the 488 nm (Argon) or 561 nm (DPSS 561-10) laser excitation line. The original CZI files are provided, which could be opened by the ZEISS ZEN software.
