Exit headings and orientation errors calculated for each experiment from Stellar performance: mechanisms underlying Milky Way orientation in dung beetles

Exit headings, measured clockwise from North in 5 degree increments, as recorded in each trial of each experiment reported in this study. Orientation errors were calculated from differences between the exit headings of subsequent trials, and, where appropriate, the rotation of the stimulus (±90 degrees) was subtracted from this value to give orientation error relative to stimulus position.
