Marsh plants and soil data, northern Barataria Bay, May 2016 to December 2016

Plant aboveground biomass, plant stem density, and surface soil total petroleum hydrocarbon concentrations of various oiled salt marshes were collected and analyzed to study the long-term effects of and recovery from the Deepwater Horizon oil spill. Samples were be collected from seven marsh locations each that received no oiling (as reference), moderate oiling, or heavy oiling along northern Barataria Bay, Louisiana in 2016.
