Raw Data from the Evaluation of Nutrient Digestibility, Nitrogen Balance, and Energy Partitioning in Laying Hens Subjected to Different Molt Induction Programs
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains the individual-level raw data generated during an experiment evaluating the effects of different molt induction programs on nutrient digestibility, nitrogen balance, and energy partitioning in laying hens. Five molt induction programs were evaluated: fasting, complete feed (CF), wheat bran (WB), alfalfa, and sorghum. Measurements were collected during four physiological stages: pre-molt, early molt (day 7), target weight loss day (TWLD), and day 15 of post-molt recovery. The dataset includes individual records of body weight, feed intake, dry matter intake, excreta output, apparent total tract digestibility of dry matter and energy, nitrogen intake, nitrogen excretion, apparent nitrogen retention, nitrogen balance, gross energy intake and excretion, apparent metabolizable energy, retained protein energy, retained fat energy, total retained energy, heat production, egg production variables, and other calculated variables related to nutrient utilization and energy partitioning. The data are provided to support transparency, reproducibility, and the reuse of experimental data in poultry nutrition and metabolism research.
