The blood samples of PD patients and Healthy controls were collected from the general OPD of Department of Neurology, KGMU, Lucknow. RNA (including small RNAs) was extracted by Ribopure Blood RNA Isolation Kit by Thermo Fisher as suggested protocol by manufacturer. A custom Taqman OpenArray panel was used to profile the miRNAs expression. RNA isolated from the PD patients and Healthy control group blood samples were quantified and performed reverse transcription reaction using custom primer pool for cDNA synthesis. Further preamplification of cDNA samples were also performed using preamplification primer pool. The preamplification products then diluted in TE buffer and mixed with Taqman Open Array universal master mix and run the Open array.
