OEB Software Observatory Data

Data associated with the Software Observatory. Data, all in JSON format, is located in the `data/` directory, while the corresponding JSON Schemas are located in the `schemas/` directory. This dataset is composed of: Software metadata: raw_data.json: pre-normalization data. Raw harvest from metadata sources, with minimal cleaning and source-native fields. normalised.json: post-normalization data. Records harmonized to the Observatory schema, including field names, data types, and controlled vocabularies. merged.json: post-integration data. Records merged across sources into the final integrated software dataset. Derived calculations: calculations.json: computed indicators and summary statistics used to generate Observatory visualizations and analyses. Publications metadata: publications.json: publication records associated with software entries, including enriched bibliographic metadata where available. Service availability: service_availability.json: longitudinal availability checks for software-related URLs, including HTTP status codes and access-time measurements.
