Sewage systems used in new single-family houses in the U.S. 2009-2023

In 2023, around 815,000 newly built single-family houses in the U.S. were connected to the public sewerage system. This represented a considerable increase from 2013 when 482,000 new houses were connected to the sewer network.截至2023年，美国新建的独立住宅约81.5万户接入公共下水道系统，相较于2013年接入下水道网络的48.2万户，呈现出显著的增长。
