资源简介:
During the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, sports activities were restricted to minimize contact with others. While sports activities have now resumed with various measures in place, it remains unclear whether pre-pandemic sports injury prevention strategies are still adequate. In this study, we investigated the changes in the physical condition of adolescent athletes before and after the pandemic. Additionally, we developed a non-contact self-check application that enables real-time assessment of physical condition and injury risk without requiring direct supervision, and examined the challenges associated with its implementation. We believe that our study makes a significant contribution to the literature because it provides valuable empirical evidence on the impact of pandemic-related training restrictions on adolescent athletes, addressing a gap in research regarding their recovery and physical conditioning post-restrictions.Moreover, we believe that this paper will be of interest to the readership of your journal because it explores a timely and relevant issue in sports science and rehabilitation. It presents practical applications for medical professionals, coaches, and sports organizations by demonstrating how digital tools can support athlete health and performance monitoring, particularly in situations where in-person assessments are limited. The self-check application offers a scalable solution that can be implemented across various sports settings while maintaining safety protocols during infectious disease outbreaks.
