A Dictionary of the Arabic Language, with explanations in Persian, entitled الصراح by Abu’l-Faḍl Muḥammad b. ‘Omar b. Khâlid, commonly called Jamâl Ḳurashî. It professes to be an extract from Jauharî’s (d. A.H. 398) الصحاح . Cf. Ḥ. Kh. iv. 102; Cat. Lugd. i. 69 [=Catalogus codicum orientalium Bibliothecae Academiae Lugduno-Batavae.]; Cat. Mus. Brit. 467 [= p. 467, no. MVII, Add. 5643, which copy is from Charles Wilkins and dated 1779];  Catal. 133. [ed note: = Ḥaqīm Ḥamid al-Dīn's Urdu catalogue prepared at the behest of H. B. Frere]. Printed at Calcutta, 1812-15, in two vols.

An elegant copy, written, as it seems, A.H. 1013 [=1604-05 CE]

Colophon:

و قد وقع الفراغ فى وقت الضحى فى الشهر ذو العقد فى عام الف بعد ثلثة عشر ( sic )

The first two pages are richly ornamented and gilt; the others are within blue and gold lines.
