资源简介:
This project contains high-throughput sequencing data of soil fungal communities collected from afforested ex-tin mining tailings in Bidor, Perak, Malaysia. The study assessed fungal diversity, taxonomic composition, and functional guild structure across three planting systems established on contrasting tailing substrates, including sand and slime deposits. Sampling sites comprised monoculture plantings of Hopea odorata and mixed plantings of Hopea odorata with Acacia mangium. Composite soil samples were collected from replicated blocks within each site. Fungal communities were characterized using amplicon sequencing of the internal transcribed spacer 1 region. Sequences were processed using quality filtering, chimera removal, and operational taxonomic unit clustering at 97 percent similarity. The dataset provides a community-level baseline for understanding ectomycorrhizal and other fungal guild dynamics in tropical post-mining restoration systems.
