Ttranscriptomic analyses of anaerobic ammonium oxidizing bacteria Kuenenia stuttgartiensis treated by penicillin G

Two independent total RNA isolation were performed from a 95% enriched anammox (K. stuttgartiensis) culture treated with penicillin G and a control enrichment (no penicillin G), respectively. Ribosomal RNA were removed before reverse transcription and ion torrent sequencing. We compared the gene expression levels of the two samples to investigate th effect of penicillin G on anammox bacteria.
