Experimental Dataset of Platinum Dissolution, Particulate Formation, and Electrochemical Properties of Stimulated Electrodes

This dataset contains experimental measurements of platinum (Pt) dissolution and particulate formation from electrically stimulated electrodes under a range of conditions. The data support a study investigating the relationship between stimulation parameters, electrode properties, and platinum release. Specifically, the dataset includes: Quantification of dissolved platinum as a function of electrical stimulation parameters (e.g., charge density, frequency). Platinum dissolution from electrodes in the presence of model protein solutions and in vitro fibrotic tissue models. Relationships between electrode electrochemical properties and the extent of platinum dissolution. ICP-MS measurements of platinum from particulate and ionic platinum reference solutions. Quantification of platinum particulates across a range of concentrations.
