Dataset of multielectrode (16 channel plexon U-probe recordings) from monkey PMd during perceptual decision-making

This dataset contains recorded spiking activity from two monkeys. Neural activity was recorded from the dorsal premotor cortex (PMd) during a perceptual decision-making task (discrimination of the dominant color of a checkerboard) using 16-channel linear multi-contact electrodes (U-probe). Spike times were extracted through a combination of online sorting on the Cerebus BlackRock GUI and checked and updated further using offline spike sorting (using MATLAB and the Plexon Offline Sorter), and the data is stored after spike sorting. The average yield per session was approximately 16 and 9 well-isolated single units for monkeys T and O, respectively.
