This project provides the genome assembly of Onychomys torridus, common name southern grasshopper mouse, based on a sample provided by Marco Tripodi (LMB-MRC, Cambridge UK). The assembly is provided by the European Bioinformatics Institute and Wellcome Sanger Institute (https://www.sanger.ac.uk/science/data/vertebrate-genomes-sequencing) in association with the Vertebrate Genomes Project (http://vertebrategenomesproject.org); the principal investigator was Thomas Keane (EMBL-EBI, [e-mail]).
