We used chromatin immunoprecipitation-sequencing to identify epigenetic marks associated with enhancer function (H3K4me1 and H3K27ac) from two children with untreated active JIA (ADU) and three children who were undergoing therapy with methotrexate but whose disease still remained active (ADT). Overall design: 2 ADU (active disease, untreated) and 3 ADT (active disease, treated) samples were carried out ChIP-Seq by next-generation sequencing strategy
