In this project, the performances of 5 different combinations of Lecithin (L) and Tween 80 (T) in mobilizing a model hydrocarbon, n-hexadecane in porous formations were examined. This dataset contains original grayscale images of packed-beds captured via a microscope, and the images are analyzed using a thresholding technique to quantify the amount of n-hexadecane that was mobilized from the packed-beds using different surfactant flooding mixtures. Also, interfacial tension measurements for all the systems tested are included in the dataset. The various stages that the original images were subjected to achieving the thresholding technique are also added. This dataset supports the publication: Ezeh, C. G., Chen, C.-Y., & Papadopoulos, K.
