Bioreactor metagenome sequencing and assembly

The genus Nitrospira has been known as one of the dominant nitrifying bacteria in agricultural acidic soil environments. However, Nitrospira in soils have been rarely cultivated and their genomic profiles are not sufficiently studied. In this study, we obtained two types of enrichment cultures of Nitrospira and performed metagenomic analyses. The high-quality sequences of Nitrospira cultivated in bioreactors maintained at low pH were obtained.
