Mass concentrations of accumulation mode particles during ACCLIP related to paper "Regional contributions to the chemical composition of the Asian tropopause aerosol layer (ATAL)"
收藏资源简介:
Description The netCDF files contain aerosol mass concentrations of particles with optical diameters > 120 nm as well as flight parameters of the HIAPER GV aircraft. The mass concentrations were calculated from combined volume size distributions resulting from measurements with Nuclei-Mode Aerosol Size Spectrometer (NMASS) and Ultra-High Sensitivity Aerosol Spectrometer (UHSAS) onboard of the HIAPER GV aircraft during ACCLIP. Combined NMASS and UHSAS data were only available for research flights on 12, 15, 16, 23, 25 and 26 August. For the conversion of aerosol volume distribution to mass concentration, a particle density of 1.72 g/cm³ (value of ammonium nitrate) was assumed. The combined volume size distributions were provided by Christina Williamson (University of Helsinki) and can be accessed upon request. This data set was used for Figure 8 of the paper "Regional contributions to the chemical composition of the Asian tropopause aerosol layer (ATAL)" (doi: 10.22541/essoar.175130383.35260852/v1).
