RNA-seq of the effects of Staphylococcus aureus and Vibrio alginolyiicus infection on the molting of juvenile mud crabs

The low survival rate of juvenile mud crabs caused by pathogenic bacteria has seriously hindered the development of the industry. Especially during molting, the newly formed external cuticle is weak, significantly increasing the susceptibility of crabs to pathogens. Therefore, it is urgent to solve this problem from the perspective of molecular biological. We applied transcriptomic analysis to evaluate the effects of infection with Staphylococcus aureus or Vibrio alginolyiicus on the molting of juvenile mud crabs.
