Twist family BHLH transcription factor 1 is required for the maintenance of leukemia stem cell in MLL-AF9+ acute myeloid leukemia

To identify the downstream targets of TWIST1 or Hoxa9, we carried out RNA sequencing to characterize transcriptional changes upon Twist1 deletion or Hoxa9 knockdown in LSCs from MLL-AF9+ AML mice. Overall design: a) RNA-seq in Twist1-deleted and control leukemia stem cells from MLL-AF9+ AML mice; b) RNA-seq in Hoxa9 knockdown and control leukemia stem cells from MLL-AF9+ AML mice.
