The first Altaic Korean Male Genome. We provide a highly annotated, whole genome sequence for a first Korean individual(Altaic Korean), representing the first Northeast Asian. The genome of AK1 was dtermined by an exacting, combined approach that included whole genome shotgun sequencing(27.8x coverage), targeted bacterial artificaial chromosome sequencing, and high-resolution comparative genome hybridization (CGH) using custome microarrays featuring over 24 million probes.
