The secondary land use categories include: paddy field, dry land, closed forest land, shrub land, sparse forest land, other forest land, high-coverage grassland, medium-coverage grassland, low-coverage grassland, rivers and canals, lakes, reservoirs and ponds, permanent glacier and snow land, tidal flat, bottom land, urban land, rural residential areas, other construction land, sandy land, gobi, saline-alkali land, swamp land, bare land, bare rock and gravel land, and others. Among them, cultivated land is classified into paddy fields and dry lands in mountainous, hilly, plain regions, and areas with slopes greater than 25 degrees based on landform.
