资源简介:
This dataset contains in situ bathymetric data and averaged reflectance images (RGB channels) used for developing satellite-derived bathymetry models in the Bahía Almeja and Bahía Magdalena area, Mexico. The in situ data were obtained from nautical charts, using geometric instruments to extract precise depth values, and consist of 254 georeferenced points with corresponding depth measurements and spectral reflectance values. The recorded depths range from 0.30 to 25.6 meters, covering a representative range of shallow to moderately deep waters. Additionally, the dataset includes averaged reflectance images for the red, green, and blue (RGB) channels, which were used as input for satellite-derived bathymetry modeling. These images allow for the analysis of the relationship between spectral reflectance and water depth, facilitating the application of remote sensing methodologies for coastal and marine studies. The data are organized as follows: In situ data: A CSV file that contains the pixel coordinates, latitud and longitude of the pixels and the ground datas, and the reflectance of the red, green and blue bands.  Averaged reflectance images: Raster files with averaged reflectance values for the RGB channels and the infrared channel for the land masking. This dataset is particularly relevant for researchers and professionals working on satellite-derived bathymetry, coastal modeling, and marine ecosystem studies. The public availability of these data aims to promote reproducibility of results and facilitate their application in other regions with similar characteristics.
