Genome and transcriptome sequencing of a male and female brown antechinus (Antechinus stuartii)

10x Genomics whole genome sequencing was performed on a male and female brown antechinus to create the first draft reference assembly for this species and to bioinformatically characterise Y-chromosome sequences. mRNA sequencing of 10 tissues (5 male and 5 female) was also performed to assist with genome annotation.
