RNA-seq of Pistil Tissues in Rice Cultivars YLY1 and YY15 Under Heat Stress and Normal Conditions

During anthesis, the rice cultivars YLY1 and YY15 were exposed to high temperatures of 38 degree from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and to a lower temperature of 28 degree from 4:01 PM to 8:59 AM. They were also maintained under normal conditions of 28 degree during the day and 23 degree at night. After three days of high-temperature treatment, the opened pistil tissues were collected at noon and immediately stored in liquid nitrogen for RNA-seq analysis. Samples from the normal conditions were also included for RNA-seq.
