Breast cancer remodels lymphatics in sentinel lymph nodes

In this study we investigated the effects of breast cancer cell conditioned media on human lymphatic endothlial cells. For this, we cultured the three different breast cancer cell lines MDA-MB-231, MCF-7 and T47D in endothelial cell media and transferred this conditioned media to primary, lymph-node derived human lymphatic endothelial cells. These cells were then collected and RNA-sequencing was performed from them. Overall design: We cultured three human breast cancer cells lines (MDA-MB-231, MCF-7 and T47D) in Endothelial Cell Media for 1 day and transferred their conditioned media to human lymph node derived lymphatic endothelial cells. These cells were then incubated for two days before collection.
