Malignant melanoma might develop from melanocytic nevi in which the growth-arrested state has been broken. We analyzed the gene expression of young and senescent human melanocytes in culture. In this dataset we include the expression data of young and senescent human melanocytes. 8 samples in total, 4 samples of young and 4 samples of senescent melanocyte from the same donor are RNA isolated, purified and subsequent analysed on the Affymetrix using the Titan ST1.1
